Our
Services
The Technological Maintenance Division offers users of the UAA, Laboratories and Headquarters the following services:
- Corrective maintenance of equipment.
- Preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Maintenance of analog telephone lines.
- Technical concept of low equipment.
- Technical concept for equipment purchase.
- Meteorological Verification
- Service in the variety of temperature and relative humidity.
- Switch.
How to request a
Service to DMT?
The Technological Maintenance Division has a SIMAT Information System, where they can request the services of Corrective Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Issuance of Technical Concepts of Low, Issuance of Technical Concepts of Purchase and Metrological Verification.
This system is by NEW VERSIONS and must have the role TECHNOLOGICAL MAINTENANCE; roles are assigned by the DSI Information Services Division.
On the Intranet you will find a Guide for the use of SIMAT GRT.01.
Important Notes:
- The team must have the inventory number, otherwise first contact the Inventory Section.
- The WTD warehouse is located in basement 1 logistics building.
- In the GRT.01 guide you will find in detail how to make the requests.
KEEP IN MIND
If the service is a telephone line (analog) they must make the request with the inventory number of the phone placing it for corrective maintenance and in the description of the problem place the number of the line and the problem presented.
If the service is Metrological Verification they must place the equipment for corrective maintenance and in the description of the problem indicate that the equipment requires metrological verification.
- Do not forget to write down the request number generated by the system when creating the request.

If the required service is corrective maintenance, preventive, concept of low, Metrological Verification or repair of telephone lines (analogous), follow the route:
ROUTE
- Click at “Nuevas Versiones”( New Versions), enter username and password.
- Click on Technological Maintenance module- Requests and notifications – Create request:
- Corrective Maintenance.
- Preventive Maintenance.
- Concept of Low.
- Follow the steps indicated by the system.
- Direct the team to the DMT Winery (They can be supported with the Physical Plant Division).
If the equipment is a Major Value Item in the building, follow the route:
ROUTE
- Click at Nuevas Versiones, enter username and password.
- Click on module Technology Maintenance – Requests and notifications – Create request:
- Corrective Maintenance / Preventive Maintenance Elements of Major Value.
- Follow the steps indicated by the system.
- When generating the request it is very important that the location is clear.
- Do not forget to write down the request number indicated by the system.
Step
Processing of low equipment of the university
The Technological Maintenance Division is responsible for carrying out the assessment of those equipments that, at the request of the user or by review of the technician, are considered to be canceled, issuing a technical concept of low equipment.
The procedures for eliminating the inventory system of said equipment and transferring them to the Inventory warehouse of the Finance Division, do NOT correspond to activities within our services, since they are specific to the UAA, Laboratory or Headquarters who must make the request to the corresponding dependency.
- The concepts of low are issued in the Format FRT.06, which can be downloaded from the system and thus proceed with the procedure to cancel the equipment.
- The technical concept of low is issued by the technician and approved by the head of the DMT.

Equipment from the university
University Equipment Purchase
The Technological Maintenance Division is responsible for issuing the Technical Purchasing Concepts to provide support to the Headquarters, Laboratory or UAA in the acquisition of new equipment. From the DMT the need and the technical characteristics of the team are evaluated in order to issue a final concept, which is addressed to the Heads or Coordinators and is signed by the Head of the DMT. All this with the information provided by the user in the request.
The user generates the request through SIMAT, can upload the quotes (if any) or only express the need presented and the technical concept is sent by email from the head of the DMT.
USING THE SWITCH
In case you need help with any extension you can dial the number 9 on your phone and you will contact the University switchboard, the person in charge will guide with the extensions.
It is important that you take into account, if you are going to change extension or job, please inform in order to update the database.
APPROVAL IN THE SIMAT
- Click on Nuevas Versiones (New Versions) enter username and password.
- Click on Technological Maintenance module, consult
applications, enter the number of the request. - Click Give Approval.
- Evaluate the service of DMT and place observations
corresponding if any.
Click OK.

REQUEST TRACKING
- Click Nuevas Versiones (New Versions), enter username and password.
- Click “módulo Mantenimiento Tecnológico” (Technology Maintenance module).
- Click “consultar solicitudes” (they must have the request number or inventory number of the equipment handy).
- Click on view “histórico de solicitud” (request history).
With this route you can see the progress of the request, the diagnosis issued by the technician and if any spare parts are required.
