Conference Room

Conference room suitable for conducting master classes, talks, events, undergraduate and graduate degree project presentations, and other activities that require a space.

Room available for mission-driven activities of teaching, research, outreach, and continuing education.

Hybrid classroom with a capacity of 85 students equipped with a computer that controls the rest of the devices, a monitor, an industrial-grade screen capable of 24-hour continuous operation, a webcam, a video conferencing bar, omnidirectional microphones, a 4K resolution camera, a set of speakers, and a remote control. These devices are a three-in-one complement to a 4K video camera application with a 6-meter focus, 6 omnidirectional microphones, and a high-quality stereo amplification system. Additionally, the classroom features special brightness screens with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, allowing them to remain operational 24 hours a day. The soundbar has 6 omnidirectional microphones that can focus on the professor, with high sensitivity and quality in 4K resolution.

Room

The School of Systems Engineering and Computer Science invites you to visit its José Alberto Villabona Sepúlveda Room, which is available to its students and the educational community. Photo taken at the School, general plan of the room where several desktop computers can be seen.

Support laboratory for undergraduate courses (Programming Fundamentals, Discrete Mathematics, Automata and Formal Languages, Data Structures, and Software Engineering). It serves as a backup for students for the development of their class work and degree projects.

For undergraduate and graduate academic activities, the School community uses various open-source software such as Python, Pytorch, TensorFlow, Google Colab, Seismic Unix, as well as licensed software institutionally, such as the Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visual Studio, Matlab-Simulink, PyCharm Professional, which can be accessed with the institutional email.

Additionally, the University provides undergraduate and graduate academic programs with technological platforms such as Moodle, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, enabling virtual and collaborative learning, online classes, and teacher training.

Teaching laboratory for undergraduate courses such as Computer Networks I and Computer Networks II, as well as support for other courses such as Artificial Intelligence I and II, Microcontrollers, Object-oriented Programming, and Software Engineering.

Laboratory

The optics research laboratory specializes in the acquisition of multidimensional data with emphasis on spatial, spectral, temporal, depth, and polarization dimensions.

Support for research and teaching processes, especially at the graduate level.

The School community uses various open-source software for the development of undergraduate and graduate academic activities, such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Google Colab, Seismic Unix, as well as institutionally licensed software such as the Microsoft Office 365 suite, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visual Studio, Matlab-Simulink, and PyCharm Professional which can be accessed using institutional email.

Study Center

The Center for Systems Engineering Studies (CEIS) is a non-profit entity that works in collaboration with the School of Systems Engineering and Computer Science to contribute to the comprehensive education of students in academic, humanistic, cultural, social, and sports fields.
