The Department of Pathology of the School of Medicine of the Universidad Industrial de Santander – Social Enterprise of the State – Hospital Universitario de Santander, is an Academic – Administrative Unit whose reason for being is to teach this discipline to students of Medicine, Microbiology, and Bioanalysis, and to train specialists in Pathology. The community is projected through the reading and diagnosis of cytology, biopsies, and the study of scientific autopsies of corpses mainly from the University Hospital of Santander and its area of influence with a significant impact on public health policies for the benefit of the community. visión global de todo el proceso del acto médico y le facilitará tomar las decisiones más adecuadas tanto en situaciones de emergencia como electivas.
