The electronic mail of judicial notifications is the means created exclusively for the judicial offices to advance the notifications of the Universidad Industrial de Santander of the process in which the institution is a party as plaintiff or defendant. The above is in compliance with Article 197 of Law 1437 of 2011, which states:
Article 197: Electronic address for notification purposes.
Public entities at all levels, private entities that perform public functions, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office acting before this jurisdiction must have an electronic mailbox exclusively to receive judicial notifications. For the purposes of this code, notifications made through the electronic mailbox will be understood as personal notifications.
