To work on the consolidation of research in mathematics in the northeastern region of Colombia, through the design of projects that allow, in due course, the involvement of master’s and undergraduate students in mathematics and the publication of articles in international and national indexed journals, in order to maintain the academic relevance of the group. With this, we expect to position GIM as a leading group in mathematical research at the national level
