The road to

Excellence

With a highly qualified teaching staff, composed mainly of doctors, from the School of Mathematics at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) we offer 184 subjects to the university community. Through these courses we impact a population of about 7,000 undergraduate students in different areas, with the purpose of training professionals in mathematics as a science and its practical applications for the development of a better quality of life in the country.

We have research groups positioned in categories A and B of Colciencias and national and international networks of cooperation with academic peers. Likewise, we provide spaces for the growth, strengthening and promotion of mathematics in the region.
