To contribute to the training of high-qualified professionals and researchers in the area of plasma physics and its technological applications, with a strong theoretical, computational and experimental basis that allows them to understand complex plasma phenomena and highly capable of joining teams oriented to the development of experimental research projects.

Vision
By 2030, FITEK will be a national benchmark in the field of plasma physics research, not only for the generation of new knowledge, but also for its ability to consolidate technological developments that contribute to the technological independence of Colombia.
