Our
Mission
The Laboratory of Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy develops research and teaching activities in all areas of atomic and molecular spectroscopy and laser spectroscopy. For this purpose, it has highly specialized personnel in the implementation of modern research techniques in spectroscopy and consultancy in this field.
The main mission of the group is to guarantee the development of scientific activity in the most modern aspects of the area and the training of human personnel at the scientific and technological level required by the country’s research and development centers in the area of science.
Our
Vision
To the extent that the group responds to the needs of technological and scientific development, it will generate foreign exchange savings both in the acquisition of technology and systems and with respect to the optimization of the use of instruments and equipment and the application of monitoring and control procedures. The availability of control procedures and qualified personnel should also generate an increase in the quality of the industry’s products, with the consequent creation of wealth.

The social effect of scientific-technological development, in addition to its economic component, has an important cultural component. Indeed, a basic condition of a balanced society with a vocation for improvement is the identification of its cultural values, and within these cultural values the scientific-technological baggage and its achievements play an important role. To the extent that society is able to identify concrete results as achievements of its scientific and technical capacity, it will feel itself the owner of its own culture and will be ready to reach higher and higher goals.
