Since 1994, the School of Civil Engineering of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) has provided solutions to national and local needs through continuous teaching, research and outreach activities. As a result, it has become a regional benchmark in the training of civil engineers, specialists and masters who stand out for their excellent academic and work performance. In this sense, its graduates are highly qualified to hold positions with important academic responsibilities both in prestigious national and foreign universities and to formulate direct national and local solutions in the fields of construction, infrastructure design, management and environmental sanitation or through activities related to industry, politics and culture.
