The School of Industrial and Business Studies of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) is nationally recognized as a pioneer in the field of industrial engineering. The strength of its academic proposal and its constant work have positioned it as an indispensable reference for those institutions of higher education that are structured programs within this branch of knowledge.

The School has about 150 agreements with the productive sector, which become an important support and impulse to achieve its three mission axes: teaching, research and extension, through which the academic unit contributes to the solution of problems linked both to the industrial sector and to State institutions.
