Excellence
With more than seven decades of uninterrupted operation of the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering, which is also one of the founding programs of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), our School has become a national landmark in the field of engineering because of the excellent performance of its graduates and their continuous work for the scientific and technological development of the country.
We have a strong research component, integrated by two research groups, specialized in different areas of knowledge. Both are positioned in the A category of Colciencias and have an essential role in our mission of training professionals with a high ethical, political, social and scientific quality.
