Our
Mission
Promote research in the area of circuit design in the different electronic engineering programs in the country, providing the possibility for Colombia to participate in global technological development through the export of intellectual property.
Our
Vision
CIDIC’s research work is aimed at providing creative solutions in circuits and design techniques to enable the massive reduction of power consumption in portable applications by 2021. For this purpose, the professional team, widely trained in the area of microelectronics inside and outside the country, will build the first 32 and 64 bits microcontroller, the first 32 and 64 bits microprocessor for portable systems, and high speed interfaces, finally enabling the attainment of a computing system completely designed in Colombia.

In this way, the Group’s portfolio of solutions and technological innovation will be accentuated by the recognition it has achieved and will multiply its participation in important agreements with organizations, foundations and universities, such as CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), the University of Sao Paulo and the University of Cambridge.
Finally, the group’s achievements will be reflected in the training of four doctors, eight masters and more than 50 engineers with broad knowledge in microelectronics.
