The Research Group in Algorithm Design and Multidimensional Data Processing (HDSP), code COL0156702, is attached to the School of Systems Engineering and Computer Science of the Industrial University of Santander and is classified in category A1 of Minciencias. The group operates in the optics laboratory, which is equipped with state-of-the-art optical equipment for the acquisition and processing of depth and spectral images. Its main lines of research are statistical signal processing, super-resolution, inverse problems, computational optics, video processing, hyperspectral imaging, compressed sampling, and deep learning and development of computational algorithms for spectral image processing in particular tasks such as material classification, object detection and optical sensor fusion.
