Our
Mission
RadioGIS specializes in the use of radio for the transmission of information (voice, data, video, multimedia), as well as in the infrastructure of telecommunications networks. Its work is based on the knowledge that society demands in the field of communications, the expertise of its members, the cooperative ties with several entities, the potential of the School of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering and the Universidad Industrial de Santander in general. The group seeks to encourage and support research, innovation and technological development in the field, as well as training and outreach programs under ethical criteria towards society and the environment.

The group will be widely recognized nationally and will be highly preferred for research and problem-solving requests related to its area of expertise.

The group will have the adequate facilities, equipped with offices and simulation laboratories, and the necessary equipment to guarantee the appropriate performance of its members and the correct development of associated research projects.
