Program
The Specialization in Integral Quality Management of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) aims to train highly qualified professionals to optimize and manage quality management systems. Regardless of the organization or company in which he/she works, the specialist has the skills required to implement world-class standards that enrich the strategy and operation of the entity.
The curriculum allows the student to acquire the necessary abilities to successfully undertake integral processes of management intervention, following the integrative approach of the models of quality management, environmental management, and health and safety management at work.

The Specialization in Integral Quality Management (EGIC) of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) is aimed at professionals from different fields of knowledge who are part of work teams related to project development or management systems. Similarly, the program is offered to professionals who consider the topics to be developed during the specialization relevant to the strengthening of the organization in which they work.

The graduate will be able to:
Establish policies and strategies that lead to the achievement of business objectives.
Coordinate work teams towards the adoption of an individual management system or an integrated management system.
Establish, standardize, implement, and improve management systems.
Formulate improvement projects that strengthen the organizational culture in favor of the interests of the business unit.
Identify and strengthen key success factors using the most appropriate instrument in accordance with national and international standards.

Due to the transversality that quality has as a basis to achieve strategic business objectives, the specialist in Integral Quality Management has the required competences to work in organizations in the industrial, service, manufacturing, construction, educational, health, oil & gas sectors and their related and complementary segments. Similarly, the specialist may work in state public administration, public services, and public administration entities.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- UIS registration form duly completed and signed.
- Resume, it has to be done in the UIS format established institutionally for this purpose, with the attachment of the certificates and copies of documents that corroborate what is described in it.
- Photocopy of valid identity document valid in Colombia or valid passport for foreigners.
- Recent document type photo, preferably in digital format, white background 3×4.
- Photocopy of the diploma or photocopy of the undergraduate degree certificate required by the program, issued by a recognized HEI in Colombia.
- Notice 1: If the applicant has a degree from a foreign university, it must be duly apostilled and translated into Spanish if it is in a foreign language. The degrees must be validated by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional de la República.
- Certificate of the grades obtained in the undergraduate program required by the program, including the weighted average.
- Notice 2: In the case of UIS undergraduate alumni, it is not necessary to provide this document.
- Receipt of payment issued by the UIS treasury for the current value of the registration or receipt of consignment in the account authorized by the UIS.
- Notice A: All the documents listed above must have a digital version in PDF in order to complete the online registration process.
- Notice B: All documents must be submitted physically. To hand the documents in, please go to the postgraduate office of the program in the city where you wish to take the academic program or to the offices of the entity with which the UIS has an agreement with.
- Notice C: When physical documents are submitted, additional documents that you consider relevant for the admission must be attached.
