Ricardo Humberto Ramírez Carreño

Former general Manager of the Energy Planning Unit (Upme)

Ricardo Ramírez Carreño has a master’s degree in Energy from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and more than 30 years of experience in the sector in both public and private sectors.

He has served as head of the Mining and Energy Division of the National Planning Department (DNP). He is also an expert commissioner of the Energy and Natural Gas Regulatory Commission (Creg), technical secretary of the National Natural Gas Operation Council and Manager of Fiscalization of the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH), among others.

In the academic field, Ramírez has been linked to the National University of Colombia and the Industrial University of Santander as a professor.

Martha Liliana Suárez Peñaloza

Former general Director of the National Spectrum Agency (ANE)

Besides her undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), Martha Suárez holds a Master’s degree in High Frequency Communication Systems from the University of Marne-la-Vallee in France and a Ph.D. in Electronics, Optics and Systems from the University of Paris-Est in France. She has been involved in several international research and working groups related to the manufacturing of mobile devices.

Due to her knowledge and experience in spectrum and technology management and administration, and because she is considered a leading voice in the promotion of policies that allow a more efficient use of these resources, during the last few years she served as advisor and mainly as general director of the National Spectrum Agency (ANE).

Carolina González Martínez

U.S. patent awarded

Electrical engineer graduated from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) in 2007.  She has 11 years of experience working in the oil sector with Schlumberger; as a Coiled Tubing field engineer for 4 years providing services for different operating companies such as BP, Petrominerales, HOCOL, Ecopetrol, etc; as a sales engineer for 2 years, and as a technical instructor of coiled tubing for 5 years in the Schlumberger training center, located in the USA.

Daniel Ricardo Ojeda Giratá

First PhD graduate in Information Engineering from the Federal University of ABC (São Paulo)

Electronic Engineer graduated from Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), 2010.

Ph.D. in Information Engineering (2020) Federal University of ABC (Sao Paulo – Brazil).

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics – Federal University of ABC (Sao Paulo – Brazil).

Qualified professional to perform in different areas of electrical, electronics and telecommunications. Broad knowledge in qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques of the digital environment and experience in support and development of Info Plus 21 information system. He has the skills required to extract valuable information to assist in decision making in the business sector.
