The New Materials Development and Technology Research Group (GIMAT) seeks to contribute to the improvement of processes for obtaining, characterizing, and evaluating materials, as well as the study of new materials that align with the current demands and needs of the country. Through the training of qualified professionals and researchers, GIMAT aims to generate and strengthen cooperative links between Colombian universities and companies in the development, production, and application of materials.
