To train individuals with high ethical, technical, and professional standards, focused on the generation and expansion of knowledge, active participation in academia, and the development of a research culture centered on the advancement and adaptation of enhanced hydrocarbon recovery technologies, with the goal of increasing global resource reserves.

Vision
To be recognized as the leading research group in the analysis, development, and technical and financial evaluation of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects, equipped with a high-quality laboratory facility, and supported by students and professionals trained in the evaluation, development, modeling, and simulation of enhanced hydrocarbon recovery processes.
