EMAR is a team of researchers interested in microeconomics and regulation. In addition, it is an initiative that aims to open new spaces for the teaching and discussion of economic theory in the School of Economics of the UIS. In this sense, EMAR emerged in 2006 as a training seedbed, in response to the need to consolidate researchers in the areas of work of the group. In 2011 it was recognized by Colciencias, and in the recent measurement calls made in 2013 (Call 640) and 2014 (Call 693 of 2014) it was classified in Category B of the National Science, Technology and Innovation System (SNCTeI).
