Historical Studies in Social Networks is a research group belonging to the School of History of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS). It is composed of professors and students, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, from the School of History, as well as professors from other academic units and institutions that are aligned with its interests. The group seeks to deepen the country’s history through new approaches, techniques, and methods oriented to understanding the role of networks in Colombian history. As a result, it has directed research projects, graduate work, and different book chapters, papers, and scientific articles. It currently has six lines of research, which bring together several perspectives that address historical problems from the approach of social networks throughout the history of Colombia.
