The research group on Constitutional Law and Justice (GIDEIC), belonging to the School of Law and Political Science of the UIS, was created in November 2005. Nowadays, it is headed by Professor Héctor Elías Hernández Velasco, and it is currently recognized by Colciencias. Its field of study is Applied Social Sciences. Therefore, the research group focuses on four lines of research: Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Legal Hermeneutics, and Constitutional Law and Politics.
