The purpose of this group is to articulate the research activity of the Legal Area with the social reality. To this end, and considering the expertise of the different members of the group, its main objective is to canalize and support the various aspects of research in the legal and socio-legal fields. From this perspective, the constitution of this group provides a better structure and coordination of the research carried out by its members in the following areas: human rights, constitutional law, socio-legal research, domestic violence, criminality, and social control, history of law, legal hermeneutics, political science, and procedural law. The group has been operating for several years and its work transcends from the university to society and public institutions.
