about the

Program

The undergraduate degree in Economics at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) aims to train economists who can assume, from a universal vision of social sciences, the analysis and criticism of the principles that interpret the development of society and its future prospects.

Likewise, the program seeks to orient its students towards an understanding of the universal character of economic theories and the particularities of their application.
