The Department of Pediatrics of the School of Medicine of the UIS, has as its mission to train ideal staff for the care of children and adolescents; it works with medical-scientific, humanistic and technological criteria for the promotion of health, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of childhood diseases, emphasized in research and teaching in order to improve the quality of life of our children.
