Our
Mission
Promote research in a critical and analytical spirit of the health situation, strengthen the academic training of pre-and prostrate students, and provide knowledge on the different areas of Gynecology and Obstetrics for the benefit of patients who consult our practice centers.
Challenges: Make contributions in the area of Gynecology and obstetrics that contribute to the reduction of women’s morbidity-mortality at all stages of their lives, emphasizing maternal and fetal.
Our
Vision
We see ourselves as a solid group in the next 10 years, recognized by Colciencias, with lines of research supported by external entities, which contributes to the solution of regional health problems. The GINO group is projected as a multidisciplinary team, led by teachers in the area of Gynecology and Obstetrics with active participation in research, in their quest for excellence to obtain recognition from the university, the community, and category A of Minsciences; on the other hand, the search for teamwork with other research groups both national and international.
