The Epidemiological Observatory Research Group on Nutrition and Chronic Diseases aims to develop various research lines to address issues related to the etiology, prognostic factors, treatment, and community-level interventions for chronic diseases, particularly those related to the cardio-cerebrovascular system. It also seeks to become a reference center for the development and strengthening of epidemiological research in cardiovascular and nutritional epidemiology. The group strives to establish connections with similar research groups at both national and international levels, fostering collaborative research projects, enhancing human resource development, and improving the group’s resources and infrastructure.
