Admission to the in-person modality academic programs requires the presentation of the results of the ICFES Saber Pro tests (not older than 5 years) with a minimum score of 31 points in each of the tests that make up the State Exam: Mathematics, Critical Reading, Social and Citizenship, Natural Sciences and English.
Tuition payment system for students of in-person modality undergraduate academic programs at regional Campuses The basic tuition fee ranges from 1/8 of the current minimum monthly salary to 6 of the current minimum monthly salary, where the current minimum monthly salary is equivalent to the legal minimum monthly salary in effect at the time of liquidation. In order to settle the tuition fees for students in the in-person modality undergraduate academic programs at the Regional Campuses of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, the following model will be considered, which defines, as a general condition for its operation, the existence of a socio-economic condition of the family of origin based on one of the following three indicators:
  • Pension: V1, monthly value of the pension paid during the last year of high school. It is obtained by multiplying by 5.5 the monthly pension corresponding to the last year of baccalaureate, expressed in monthly minimum wages of the year in which the baccalaureate degree was obtained.

Students who have received a scholarship during their last year of high school must present written certification from the school regarding the amount they would have paid if they had not received this benefit.

  • Social stratification V2, Social stratification of the family of origin's housing. It is obtained by applying the following table:
Social stratification Minimum Basic Tuition Minimum Basic Tuition Value
1  1/8  current minimum monthly salary
2  1/4  current minimum monthly salary
3 1/2  current minimum monthly salary
4 1     current minimum monthly salary
5 2     current minimum monthly salary
6 4     current minimum monthly salary
Ecopetrol 6    current minimum monthly salary
  • Income: V3, the annual income received by the family of origin (parents, sponsors or benefactors). It is obtained by applying the following formula to the duly certified annual income, expressed in current minimum monthly salary.

V3 = ingresos*3.85%

(*)Income tax return or certificate of income and withholdings or CPA certification.

The amount of tuition to be paid each semester will correspond to the highest amount calculated based on each of the indicators.
