Presentation
The Directorate of Admissions and Academic Registration is a branch of the Academic Vice-Rectorate that is responsible for the admissions and academic registration processes of the University’s students.
Its mission is guided by the principles of transparency, quality in processes, continuous improvement, in search of the satisfaction of the University and the external community.
For this purpose, it has a qualified and committed work team in all its actions to contribute and support the institutional project.

PORTFOLIO
of Services
Publicize and provide information on the Academic Programs offered at the University and develop activities related to the registration, selection and admission of applicants according to the parameters established by the University.
- General information on the registration and selection process of applicants.
- Permanently develop dissemination campaigns of undergraduate academic programs in different institutions of secondary education.
- Plan, direct and coordinate the processes of registration and admission to the undergraduate academic programs face-to-face and distance in the different headquarters of the university.
- Reception of applications for admission in the modality of transfers for undergraduate programs in Bucaramanga.
- Control of the peace system and except for the documentation required for the legalization of registration.
Ensure that academic information is provided in a timely, reliable manner and in accordance with the provisions of the Academic Calendar.
- Coordinate the academic enrollment process of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Register requests for inclusion and cancellation of subjects in undergraduate face-to-face and distance and postgraduate courses, according to the requests of School,
- Faculty and Academic Councils.
- Verify and record the processes of readmission, transfers, simultaneities and transfers of undergraduate students.
- Verify and record the readmissions of graduate students.
- Verify and record in the information system the process of cancellation of semester of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Coordinate the process of carding undergraduate, graduate and graduate students.
- Application of the parameters to grant academic stimuli.
- Issuance of academic certificates of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Assignment of codes and updating in the system of the curricula of all the programs of the university.
- Receipt of documents and registration of the application for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Administration and support in the management of the academic information system of the Directorate of Admissions and Academic Registration in all its services.
In accordance with the regulations, the Academic Vice-Rector’s Office, through the Directorate of Admissions and Academic Registration, will issue students and graduates with academic certificates and certificates, according to their nature.

Taking into account the collective vacation period of Universidad Industrial de Santander for the end of the year 2023, the community is informed that applications for the issuance of certificates will be received until Thursday, December 14. Any subsequent request will be processed from Monday, January 15, 2024, the date of the return to activity of the officials of the Directorate of Admissions and Academic Registration”.
