Genetics Laboratory of Universidad Industrial de Santander Santander seeks to meet the needs of its users by guaranteeing reliable and timely results, within the framework of total impartiality, confidentiality and guaranteeing the competence of the staff and the coherent operation of its activities. It has a management committed to good professional practices, with highly qualified personnel who know and implement the policies and procedures defined by the laboratory and with technological resources that allow it to achieve the highest quality standards; promotes processes under the philosophy of risk management, continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency, framed in a Quality Management System under the standards NTC-ISO 9001: 2015 and NTC-ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 for the determination of DNA genetic profiles, as well as the other legal and regulatory requirements that govern us. As part of its commitment, the laboratory develops research projects in the area of genetics that allow it to identify and contribute to the solution of health problems that affect its community.
