Potential
Beneficiaries
Colombian professionals admitted to any of the research master’s programs and medical surgical specialties offered in this call that are listed in numeral 6 and who have not started studies.
Research
Masters
The financing for each beneficiary will be for a maximum period of two (2) years and for a maximum amount of EIGHTY MILLION PESOS M / CTE ($ 80,000,000).
The following items will be financed:
Tuition payment support: a maximum amount of TWENTY MILLION PESOS M/CTE ($20,000,000) for the two (2) years. The remaining tuition money for the program will be subsidized by the University for the same period.
Monthly support: Being full-time dedication programs, support will be granted for the maintenance of the beneficiary for a value of TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS M / CTE ($ 2,500,000) for up to 24 months, that is, a maximum total of $ 60,000,000.
Medical Surgical
Specializations
LThe financing for each beneficiary will be for a maximum period of three (3) years and for a maximum amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX MILLION PESOS M / CTE ($ 126,000,000)
The following items will be financed:
Tuition payment support: a maximum amount of THIRTY-SIX MILLION PESOS M/CTE ($36,000,000) for the three (3) years. The remaining tuition money for the program will be subsidized by the University for the same period.
Monthly support: Being full-time dedication programs, support will be granted for the maintenance of the beneficiary for a value of TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS M / CTE ($ 2,500,000) for up to 36 months, that is, a maximum total of $ 90,000,000

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF
Research proposal
.
Research proposal: It corresponds to a text in which the applicant presents, in a concise manner, the research that will be carried out in the development of his studies of surgical medical specialization or research master’s degree associated with any of the six foci prioritized by the Department of Santander. The proposal should be submitted considering the following sections:
a) Name of the research group that supports the proposal, current classification (according to the results of Call 894 of 2021 of Minciencias), synthesis of the conformation and trajectory. Include the consultation link in GrupLac and present in annex the letter of support signed by the director of the Research Group. | b) Name of the director of the proposal and current classification (results of Call 894 of 2021 of Minciencias). Include the CVLac consultation link and present in an annex the letter of support signed by the director. c) In the event that the postgraduate course to which it was admitted is accredited, the resolution of high quality accreditation of the program, issued by the Ministry of National Education, and which rests at the Universida Industrial de Santander, will be considered. Bibliography: it is recommended to use the APA citation system, 6th Ed. In order to verify and assign the points corresponding to the scientific technical support criterion of the proposal, the applicant must attach the following documents (in a single PDF independent of the proposal as such): a) Letter of endorsement signed by the director of the Research Group supporting the proposal, (Annex 2). b) Letter of intent signed by the professor who will direct the research work, member of the group that endorses the proposal,(Annex 2) c)The high quality accreditation of the program to which he was admitted, issued by the Ministry of National Education is a document that the UIS has, so the candidate will not be requested. d) For the purposes of tie-breaking criteria, it is requested to attach the electoral certificate of the last national elections in which he was a voter. |
