The identification of hazards, evaluation and assessment of risks will be reviewed and updated every time there is an accident at work due to a risk that is not identified, a fatal or catastrophic event, when internal changes are generated (introduction of new processes, change in work methods, changes in facilities, machines, equipment, among others) or external (changes in legislation, evolution of knowledge in safety and health at work, among others).

Yes, in the event that there are no changes, such update shall be carried out every year, also, if necessary, when the planned or requested periodic inspections are carried out, the risk assessment shall be reviewed again and appropriate adjustments shall be made.

UAAs are responsible for the implementation and compliance with the controls established in the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Determination Matrix; with the advice and accompaniment of the SST sub-process.

It applies to all processes, areas, routine and non-routine activities, and to all officials, teachers, contractors and students of the Universidad Industrial de Santander affiliated to the Occupational Risk Administrator.

If I carry out my activities in a work center of another organization, should I carry out the identification of hazards, evaluation and assessment of risks?

The officials of the University, assigned to inter-institutional agreements, who develop their work in the facilities of the allied entity, in the case of hazard identification, evaluation and risk assessment, will benefit from the methodology applied by the corresponding institution from which they will send the prioritization of their risks to the UAA to which it belongs and it in turn to the subprocess of safety and health at work of the Universidad Industrial de Santander.
