CICAT’s mission is to generate scientific knowledge on the design of materials and catalytic technologies to meet the particular needs of the country and in line with global scientific dynamics.

CICAT will be a global benchmark in Catalysis Science thanks to its rigorous focus on the study of catalytic materials phenomena and applications and through innovative research that applies concepts of chemistry and green engineering, materials science, and surface science in the design of catalytic materials and their implementation in sustainable processes.
