The nursing program of the Universidad Industrial de Santander seeks the integral training of professionals with high scientific, technological, and research quality; able to provide care to individuals, families, and groups; contributing to the improvement of health and well-being at the regional, national and international levels.

The program is oriented towards the training of a competent professional, with a cognitive and procedural mastery for the approach of human responses to health problems, at different stages of the human life cycle, through the Nursing Process tool.

In addition, it seeks to ensure that each of its students and graduates is committed to addressing those social, economic, and political aspects that influence the health sector for the provision of nursing care. It also provides the tools that promote leadership in the administration and management of health services and nursing research processes.
