Our
Mission
The Hydrocarbon Process Modeling Research Group aims to formulate and develop research projects focused on solving technological challenges in the hydrocarbons industry. The group’s research lines include reservoir heating, flow assurance, phase behavior, process modeling, and production optimization. Additionally, the group seeks to facilitate technology transfer through collaborations with nationally and internationally recognized institutions, thereby strengthening the country’s research capabilities.
Our
Vision
By 2020, the Hydrocarbon Process Modeling Research Group will have established itself as a high-quality scientific and academic entity, evidenced by the following achievements:
- Training its principal researchers at the specialization, master’s, and/or doctoral levels.
- Developing proposals for consulting, training, and research in collaboration with science and technology authorities and/or companies in the hydrocarbons sector, aligned with the group’s defined research lines.
- Publishing research results in highly recognized scientific journals.
- Developing technological products and/or securing patents.
- Participating in national and international events with presentations of technical papers.
- Engaging in technological exchanges and/or internships with prestigious institutions.
- Achieving administrative and financial self-sufficiency.
