GISEL’s mission is to contribute to the satisfaction of the needs for research, training, innovation and technological development in areas related to electric energy markets, quality and reliability of electric energy supply, development and operation of electric systems and high voltage technologies.
Consequently, the group aims to collaborate with the process of continuous development of the sector and the improvement of the organizational and regulatory structures of the electric power market in Colombia, based on technical, economic, safety, quality and competitiveness criteria, rational use of energy resources and environmental conservation.
