GISEL’s purpose is to contribute to satisfy the needs of research, training, innovation and technological development in topics related to electric energy markets, quality and reliability in the supply of electric energy, expansion and operation of electric systems and high voltage techniques.

Consequently, the group aims to collaborate with the process of continuous development of the sector and the improvement of the organizational and regulatory structures of the electric power market in Colombia, based on technical, economic, safety, quality and competitiveness criteria, rational use of energy resources and environmental conservation.
