Our
Mission
The main purpose of the research group in Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation (GPH) is to conduct research on issues related to the supply, quality and management of water resources and the prevention and control of environmental pollution. The group supports the training of highly qualified professionals to formulate sustainable solutions in the fields of hydrology, hydrogeology, water resource management, water supply, wastewater and solid waste management.
Our
Vision
By 2020, the group:
Will be a local and regional reference in the study and research of topics related to hydrology, hydrogeology, water resource management, water supply and the prevention and control of pollution of water and soil resources.
Will participate in research and outreach projects with regional, national and international entities.
Will disseminate its research results in scientific publications, as well as in other academic and non-academic media.
Will contribute to the processes of territorial planning and water resources management at the municipal, departmental and national levels.
