Our
Mission
The FIRST group is a research group that aims to generate scientific knowledge and training of high-quality personnel; participation and exchange with other institutions in order to contribute to the scientific and industrial development of the country.
Our
Vision
The group has the vision of becoming a leader in scientific development in the areas of emulsion formulation, rheology, and transport simulation. It is aimed at developing new technologies, for use in various areas of national interest such as road paving, the development of industrial product formulations, the improvement of hydrocarbon transport, the use of emulsions for waste recovery and the resolution of industrial problems in the field of application of complex fluid rheology. The research group has the function of supporting other research groups and adapting effectively to the needs of the industry, conducting applied research that allows the scientific development of the country in the areas of its scientific competence.
