Our
Mission
Galileo’s purpose is to transform the thinking of engineering students at the Universidad Industrial de Santander, based on the study of energy sources, the analysis of existing trends in the energy market, the discussion of public policies that determine these trends, and the formulation of prospective scenarios of energy supply and demand.
Our
Vision
By 2030, the GALILEO research group will be recognized nationally for its permanent contributions in the area of energy planning, demonstrating a consolidated experience in the topics of energy foresight, energy efficiency, insertion of renewable energies, circular economy and sustainable additives, which will be reflected in the projects applied for companies in the energy sector, the publication of high quality scientific products, the training of students and professionals, and the informative work with society in general.
