Mission
Development and application of technologies such as computed tomography, digital rock physics (digital rocks), nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, geothermal energy, hydrogen (white, green), CO₂ capture, storage and utilization (CCUS), sustainable circular economy, electromagnetic heating, smart water, and energy efficiency, focused on solving problems and optimizing technological development processes associated with Basin Analysis, IOR–EOR technologies, and Sustainable Energy Resources.
Our
Vision
By 2030, the GIT Research Group will be a leading research group in Colombia in the development and application of technologies such as computed tomography, digital rock physics (digital rocks), nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, geothermal energy, hydrogen (white, green), CO₂ capture, storage and utilization (CCUS), sustainable circular economy, electromagnetic heating, smart water, and energy efficiency, among others. It will focus on identifying alternatives that support decision-making processes for solving problems in the energy industry and improving the efficiency of technological development processes associated with Basin Analysis, IOR–EOR technologies, and Sustainable Energy Resources.
