Our
Mission
To promote the articulated and dialectical development of research, practice, multidisciplinary teaching and economic, cultural and social commitments in history, archival science and other areas of the social sciences.
To preserve and protect the country’s documentary heritage and to support the fight against corruption.
To train professional researchers with the required competencies to successfully participate in territorial intervention scenarios and to integrate interdisciplinary research teams.
To contribute both to the construction of peace and to the consolidation of a reasoned and inclusive historical memory.
Our
Vision
The research group in History, Archival and Research Networks (HARED) will be renowned for training professionals with high research, cognitive and communicative competences, who are interdisciplinary committed to the construction of historical memory, gender equity, human rights, social analysis and the implementation and development of ICT and geo-referencing systems. It will be composed of students and professionals of great ethical, scientific and human capacity, who are able to interact nationally and internationally, who feel identified with the social purpose of the group as well as with the creative and managerial capacities, the scientific spirit, human rights, freedom, equity, social justice and peace.
