The Group aims to study physiological variables such as electrocardiographic signal, heart rate variability, blood pressure variability, accumulated blood pressure, as prognostic and predictive factors in diseases, heart failure such as high blood pressure, Chagas disease, preeclampsia. Together with the biomedical engineering group and CEMOS he has developed software and hardware for the analysis of physiological signals under study. It is currently applying advanced statistical and mathematical analysis tools such as multiple linear regression models, Joint model analysis, structural equation models, machine learning, mediation analysis, and G formula.
