Our
Mission
To provide scientific knowledge in the field of diseases prevalent in our environment using high-performance tools, especially in the field of “IMOCs”, which underscore the redefinition of policies in the management of them, improving the quality of life of the communities affected by them.
Contribute to the training of new researchers through participation as teachers and tutors of postgraduate students. In addition, stimulate and support the research and creative spirit of undergraduate students.
Generate biological products for use in the diagnosis, monitoring, prevention, and treatment of diseases prevalent in our environment.
Our
Vision
The five-year group of Immunology and Molecular Epidemiology will be a group involved in the national and international scientific community, participating in networks, with high scientific production, and with active exchange of researchers and students with their counterparts. The group through its school of thinking focused on basic science research must have positioned the university as the dynamism of social change that allows the improvement of the quality of life of our poorest population, by allowing it to benefit from scientific and technological advances in biomedicine.
