Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation research group (GPH) conducts research and knowledge appropriation on issues related to the supply, quality, and management of water resources and the prevention and control of environmental pollution. It is composed of experienced researchers in hydrology, climatology, hydrogeology, water quality, water supply, and wastewater and solid waste treatment. The group also aims to generate information that contributes to territorial planning processes on water and sanitation issues.
