Minciencias Classification: A
This research group is endorsed by the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and recognized and classified by Colciencias (now Minciencias). It gathers researchers from different disciplines, specializing in the profound study of religious facts in Colombia and Latin America. In that sense, it conducts scientific research and disseminates the results through different media to the academic public and the community in general. It is interested in the training of new researchers through research groups and the direction of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degree projects. The group works from an inter and transdisciplinary perspective and promotes interreligious dialogue between academia and religious organizations.
