Minciencias Classification : A
The Enhanced Recovering Research Group focuses on raising, developing, executing, and verifying comprehensive solutions to the technological needs of any company that carries out activities related to the area of hydrocarbons, through strategic alliances, the analysis, and realization of research projects related to the processes of Enhanced Recovery.
Currently, the research group proposes specialized studies in the different recovery factors increase techniques that are framed in the lines adherent to the entity, establishing point parameters that determine the correct functioning and the highest accuracy in the different methodologies of achievement of results, such as the implementation of physical models, mathematical models, economic analysis, risk, and uncertainty analysis, and finally, numerical simulation of deposits in all its modalities (conceptual, Full Field, etc.); all this to evaluate the feasibility of any method of tertiary recovery, the management of tools for the development of research and the dissemination of the work carried out.
