The Epidemiological Observatory Research Group on Nutrition and Chronic Diseases aims to develop the different lines of research in such a way as to obtain answers to problems related to etiology, prognostic factors, treatment, and interventions at the community level in chronic diseases, especially those of the cardio-cerebrovascular complex. It also aims to be a reference center for the development and strengthening of epidemiological research in cardiovascular and nutritional epidemiology. Create links with similar research groups at the national and international levels to the development of collaborative research projects, qualification of the human resource, and improvement of the endowment and infrastructure of the group.
