Paternity Tests
The genetics laboratory of the Universidad Industrial de Santander it seeks to meet the needs of its users by guaranteeing reliable and timely results, within the framework of total confidentiality.
It has a management committed to good professional practices, with highly qualified personnel who know and implement the policies and procedures defined by the laboratory and with technological resources that allow it to achieve the highest quality standards; manages processes under the philosophy of continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency, complying with ISO-IEC 17025:2017 for its filiation tests and cytogenetic tests and ISO 9001:2015 for all its services.
As part of its commitment, the laboratory develops research projects in the area of genetics that allow it to identify and contribute to the solution of health problems that affect its community.

Accreditation
We guarantee the reliability of your results since we have the accreditation of the National Accreditation Body of Colombia (ONAC), in our filiation tests.
The Genetics Laboratory of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) is accredited under the guidelines of the NTC ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 granted by the National Accreditation Body of Colombia (ONAC) for:
Determination of DNA genetic profiles from blood and oral mucosal cells by capillary electrophoresis using 15 autosomal STRs and amelogenin.
We are also certified by the Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification (ICONTEC) under the NTC ISO 9001: 2015.
