Our
Mission
CEIAM leads initiatives to generate, develop and offer scientific and technological knowledge, through the interdisciplinary management of diverse sources of information. This, with the purpose of supporting the inclusion of the environmental variable in the decisions made by the territorial entities of the State, the environmental authorities and the productive sectors within the framework of Sustainable Development, meeting the needs of both the community and the public and private institutions. The achievement of this objective is based on the ethical commitment, the work and academic capacity of its members and on the conceptual and logistical support provided by the University

Vision
Being an administrative and operational unit of the UIS, the Center for Environmental Studies and Research (CEIAM) projects itself to the year 2012 as an articulating entity of several fields of knowledge, in order to manage, develop and attend projects that provide solutions in environmental issues for social, economic and technological benefit at regional and national level
