The New Materials Development and Technology Research Group (GIMAT) seeks to assist in the improvement of the processes of obtaining, characterizing and evaluating materials, as well as in the study of new materials in line with the current demands and needs of the country through the training of ideal professionals and researchers that generate and strengthen links of cooperation between Colombian universities and companies for the development, production, and application of materials.
